Our History.
Offering a multitude of services for both companies and individuals, Garza Gump Group is a dynamic, energetic team of dedicated professionals who regard our clients as partners. Our aim is to help our clients grow and expand.
Our leaders, Robert Gump and Victor Garza, are both highly experienced veterans in accounting and financial management.
Robert founded his accounting firm, Robert M. Gump and Company, in 1982. Victor joined him in 2013. In January of 2018, Victor became a partner, and the firm became Garza Gump Group. Combining their long and varied experience in financial management with their commitment to customer service, Robert and Victor built this company to its present size of two partners, multiple associates, and a full complement of support staff.

Meet The Team
Robert Gump
Robert Gump, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) program, has had a varied career that has brought him a wealth of experience. Robert has worked in the accounting and business consulting field since 1968. His long experience in this area combined with involvement in the cattle business, the printing business, and real estate has given him a unique perspective on what it takes to make a company thrive.
Robert founded what grew to become Garza Gump Group in 1982 and has successfully led the company and its clients through multiple periods of social, political, and financial transition. He provides practical and effective problem-solving and planning for his clients, many of whom have been with him from the beginning.
Victor Garza
Victor utilizes his skills and real-world experience gained in his years working in the financial and HR arenas to help his clients realize their business goals. He knows that relationships are the key to providing great service and makes a point of being readily available to his clients.
Victor takes pride in helping clients simplify their lives in the areas of cash flow management, tax compliance, and tax planning with the goal of keeping more money in their pockets.
Consistent with his personal philosophy of “never stop learning” and to expand upon his BA in International Relations from Brown University and his CPA certification, Victor also graduated from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business with a Master of Business Administration degree. He is licensed as a CPA in Texas and New Mexico.
